Hidden River began with a simple idea: to share a beautiful, little-known corner of Cumbria with others. What started in 2011 with handcrafted log cabins has grown into a unique countryside destination, now home to luxury accommodation, grand houses, quirky cottages, a restaurant, and an exclusive award-winning wedding venue.

We’re passionate about creating memorable experiences through thoughtful design, warm hospitality and exceptional service. Just as importantly, we never stand still. We continually develop and upgrade what we offer, ensuring every visit feels special – whether it’s your first or your fifth.

With exciting plans for 2026 and beyond, Hidden River Cabins is evolving into a place guests love to return to time and time again – not just to stay, but to truly escape, celebrate and reconnect.
